Cancellation Policy And Warranty Rules

Cancellation Policy

  • If you want to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us three (three) business hours notice.
  • In the case of an appointment between 12pm-4pm, we must be notified by 9am the same day.
  • VOICEMAILS are not accepted after hours.
  • It is only possible to cancel a service call over the phone with a live agent, who will provide you with a cancellation code.
  • Cancellations made after 24 hours will result in a reduced service call charge of $59CAD + tax.

Warranty on appliance repair

    At #1 Appliance Repair, customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and the parts we install.


    đź”§ Labor Warranty

    We provide a 1-Year (12 Months) Warranty on Labor for all completed repairs.

    This means:

    • If the same issue reoccurs due to our workmanship within 12 months of the service date,

    • We will return and correct the issue at no labor charge.

    âś” Valid from the original service date
    âś” Applies only to the repaired component
    âś” Invoice must be presented as proof of service


    âš™ Parts Warranty

    Parts warranty varies depending on manufacturer and part type.

    • Minimum Warranty: 30 Days

    • Maximum Warranty: Up to 1 Year

    • Most manufacturer parts include 90 days to 1 year warranty

    Warranty coverage is determined by:

    • Manufacturer policy

    • Brand

    • Type of part installed

    If a defective part fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period:

    âś” Replacement part will be provided under manufacturer warranty
    âś” Labor to replace the defective part is covered under our 1-Year Labor Warranty


    âť— Warranty Does NOT Cover:

    • New issues unrelated to the original repair

    • Physical damage, misuse, or neglect

    • Power surges or electrical issues

    • Water damage or improper installation

    • Clogged drains, maintenance-related issues

    • Unauthorized repairs or tampering

    • Commercial appliance use (unless agreed in writing)


    🔎 Important Notes

    • Warranty applies only to the specific part replaced and the original repair performed.

    • Warranty is non-transferable.

    • Appliances must remain in the original installation location.

    • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable.

    • Manufacturer defects are subject to manufacturer approval.
